Dear BTech Students,
Welcome to the Smart Embedded Systems module in your BTech in ETT program. This course is designed to provide you with the knowledge and practical skills to design, implement, and optimize embedded systems for Internet of Things (IoT) applications. By the end of the module, you will be able to design IoT embedded systems, implement the required hardware, and integrate complete systems.
The module aims to build your understanding of embedded systems fundamentals, enable you to explore IoT solutions, and apply this knowledge to real-world challenges. Ultimately, it prepares you as African innovators to solve community problems, address current technological needs, and drive innovation in connected technologies that contribute to the sustainable development of Rwanda and the wider continent.
