Accounting Principles

This module describes the skills, knowledge and attitude required to Apply accounting principles. It is intended for learners who have successfully completed the TVET Certificate III in Accounting or its equivalent and pursuing TVET Certificate IV in Accounting or other related qualifications. At the end of this module, learners will be able to Describe accounting principles, Apply double entry book-keeping system and Record transactions. Qualified learners deemed competent to this competency may work alone or with others on routine tasks within financial and non-financial institutions, Supermarkets, Non-government organiZations (NGO) and Government institutions and other business enterprises related under minimum supervision.
