TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT FOR MECHANICAL FITTER HANDLING

This is a core module which describes the performance outcomes, skills, knowledge and attitude required to handle tools, equipment for Mechanical fitter. At the end of this module a trainee will be able to identify, to select and to perform handling of tools and equipment especially Measuring tools like Vernier calipers, micrometers and dial indicators; also Holding tools, tightening tools and Cutting tools like hacksaw and chisel will be part of the module content in order to facilitate him or her to handle and take care of tools and equipment needed for a Mechanical fitter.
