WELDING TECHNOLOGY

Welding is the metal joining together of two or more pieces of metal by heating them to a temperature high enough to cause softening or melting, with or without the application of pressure, and with or without the use of filler metal.

filler metal used  has a melting point approximately the same as the metals being joined.
