Applying Animal Breeding and Genetics

This module covers the knowledge, skills and attitudes required to apply animal breeding and genetics. Upon completion of this module, the trainee will be able to: Identify and select materials, tool and equipment for animal breeding and genetics, describe the basics of cytogenetics and population genetics, Identify the applications of genomic information in the fields of animal Health and production and design and implement a breeding program.
