BUILDING CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGY

This is a core module which describes the performance outcomes, skills knowledge and attitude required to identify building construction principles. This module is intended for students pursuing a TVET diploma in quantity surveying. At the end of this module students will be able to describe the construction principles of preliminary items, describe the construction principles of substructures, describe the construction principles for super structure, describe construction principles for openings and describe the construction principles for external works (roads, retaining walls, bridges, dams, culvert etc.).
