At the end of this module, the trainee will be familiar with advanced techniques for conversion, control and monitoring of electric energy using power semiconductor devices.

It also describes the analysis methods and theorems required to accomplish the above tasks. It also explains the skills, knowledge, and attitude needed to install basic electrical circuits. The learner will be able to select and arrange different materials, equipment, and tools used in installing basic electrical circuits. Moreover, he/she will be able to use basic electrical switches, protection equipment and electrical power outlet devices

Objectives of module

The main purpose of Advanced Computer Skills is to train individuals who have completed Basic Computer Literacy to an advanced level. Learners will be able to then transfer data between applications, apply various functions and formulas. They will also be able to make decisions over the acquisition of software packages suitable to their departments and directorate. Issues such as data security, database querying and generating of database reports are covered to prepare learners for the actual workplace.

 In addition, students learn skills such as sending emails, conducting Internet research, creating word processing documents and creating presentations.
