This module is designed for students pursuing Tvet Diploma courses in quantity
surveying. It describes the skills, knowledge, and attitudes required to apply technical
drawing. At the end of this course, the learner will be able to use construction drawing
instruments, materials and equipment; apply lines and symbols used in drawing and
perform 2 & 3 dimensional drawing.
This module describes the skills and knowledge required to perform measurement of
simple elements, identify units and calculation of involved quantities in construction and
budling services, starting from substructure to roofs works and furthermore extending
to demolition and alterations. If it remains to be indispensable for construction
practitioners to accomplish daily tasks without performing measurements, let trainees
in Quantity surveying be acquainted with skills, knowledge and attitude to perform

This module is designed to prepare students pursuing Diploma courses in Land Surveying to handle the practical and managerial tasks. It covers the main concepts of planning, scheduling, organizing and controlling construction works. It covers a construction project schedule as a network of activities, understanding of the logic diagram; network analysis through forward pass, backward pass, critical path and float, updating, evaluation and use of schedule and resource in cost of activity. The module is made of four Learning Units which are:
