This module describes the skills and knowledge
required to Apply mineral economics. This module is intended to students
pursuing diploma in Mining Technology TVET level VI. At the end of this module, the students will
be able to Perform Identify the nature and scope of economics, Identify
economic factors of production, minerals economic concepts, and minerals
taxation principles. It is an obligation for each employee to participate in
the management of their own health and safety and that of their colleagues and
anyone else in the workplace. They have a duty to cooperate with their employer's
initiatives to ensure safety at work.
This
module describes knowledge, the skills and attitudes required to interpret design
and specifications of building services; ensure the use of building services
standards and regulations in the construction industry; and apply principles of
energy-efficient and sustainable construction practices.
