This module describes the skills, knowledge and attitude required to develop backend using java servlet or JSP. This module is intended for students pursuing TVET diploma in Information Technology. At the end of this module, the students will be able to use different programming technologies like servlet, JSP, use different tools for developing a backend of a software using java like NetBeans, eclipse, apache tomcat, sublime text, etc. and apply different acquired skills, knowledge and attitudes to develop a backend of a system using Java.

Welcome Dear learners!

 

This module describes the knowledge, skills and attitudes required to manage workplace environmental management. Throughout this module, leaners will be able to describe environmental management, to assess environmental impact and to control human projects impact on environment.

The module contains three learning units(LU):

LU 1. Describe environmental management

1.1.   Explain clearly the basics of environmental management in accordance with environmental management tools.

1.2.   Describe properly the environment of earth refer to environmental geography.

1.3.   Describe properly Rwanda’s environmental features refer to Rwanda environmental policy.

LU 2. Assess environmental impact

2.1.   Determine effectively environmental aspects, impact and implications for Rwandan society refer to ISO 14001 environmental aspects.

2.2.   Conduct effectively the environmental Impact Assessment in line with national environment policy.

2.3.   Develop properly EIA report according to the terms of reference that the project is subjected to.

LU 3. Control human projects impact on environment

3.1.   Adapt properly the planned project to environment for its management based on type project and its impact to environment.

3.2.   Control efficiently pollution refer to waste treatment technology.

3.3.   Apply properly climate change mitigation measures in line with national environment and climate change policy.
