This module describes the skills, knowledge and attitudes required to select, calibrate, and use efficiently electrical measuring instruments. It also describes the knowledge, skills and attitudes required to check the measuring system performance . It is designed for trainees pursuing D iploma in Electrical Technology.
By the end of this module , t he trainee will be able to perform measurements in different
applications by using appropriate instruments with adequate settings.
When you are an Engineer and you want to explain your idea, you can use engineering drawing. It is the language of systematic lines. Therefore Engineer must have Knowledge of this language to protect his ideas correctly on the paper.
Since, the modern research engineering work in engineering depends mainly upon engineering drawing it is therefore necessary for engineer to acquire a good working knowledge about the subject in order to express and record the shape, size and other information necessary for construction of various objects such as buildings, roads, bridges, structures, machines, etc
The broad objective of this module of mathematics is based on helping the students to acquire a required background of sets and functions, trigonometric functions and waves, vectors and complex numbers with a logical and creative understanding.
The current module of Physics aims at helping the students to acquire an introductory background of Mechanics, Properties of matter, waves and Simple Harmonic Motion, and thermodynamics as guidance for their further studies. At the end of this module, the students should be able to identify and interpret basic concepts of Mechanics, Properties of matter, waves and Simple Harmonic Motion, and Thermodynamics with a logical and creative understanding.
