At the end of this course, the learner will be able to use mechanical drawing instruments, materials and equipment; apply lines and symbols used in drawing and perform 2 & 3-dimensional drawing.

This module describes the skills, knowledge and attitude required to theoretical applications of engineering mechanics including the analysis of frames machines trusses and beam. This module is intended to trainees pursuing diploma in manufacturing technology. At the end of this module, the students will be able to describe fundamentals of engineering mechanics, describe forces, describe moment of forces, describe condition of equilibrium, analyze support reaction, analyze frame, describe center of gravity and moment of inertia, describe friction. He or She will have the ability to exercise some initiative and independence in carrying out defined activities at a professional level.
