The "Fundamentals of Electrical Circuits" (ETTEC601) course introduces first-year Electrical and Telecommunication Technology (ETT) students to the foundational principles of electrical engineering. This course covers essential topics such as Ohm’s Law, Kirchhoff’s Laws, series and parallel circuits, basic DC and AC circuit analysis, network theorems, and the behavior of passive components like resistors, capacitors, and inductors. Students will gain both theoretical understanding and practical skills through problem-solving and hands-on lab exercises, laying the groundwork for more advanced studies in electronics, telecommunications, and electrical systems. The course emphasizes analytical thinking, safety awareness, and proper use of electrical measurement instruments.
