FRMFE701: FOREST EXTENSION

This module describes the skills and knowledge required to perform forest extension. It is a requirement for each forest technician to perform forest extension in the management of forest resources. It is intended for learners pursuing a TVET diploma (REQF, Level VII) in Forest Resource Management. At the end of this module, learners will be able to Identify forestry knowledge/skills gaps, plan for extension activities, Organize the extension activities Evaluate the extension activities, monitor appropriate use of climate-friendly forestry Practices, and apply measures for climate change adaptation.
