IRRIGATION AND DRAINAGE

This module describes the skills, knowledge and attitude required to perform basic irrigation and drainage activities. It is intended for learners pursuing TVET diploma (REQF Level VI) in horticulture. At the end of this module, learners will be able to prepare for irrigation and drainage practices, participate in installation and maintenance of irrigation/drainage systems infrastructures. Qualified learners deemed competent to this competency may work alone or with others on routine tasks in crop production farm under minimum supervision.
