The aim of the module will provide a solid understanding of the air transport industry.
The module will enable the trainees serve their customers by applying their travel
geography knowledge to solve air travel needs, interpret, advise on airfares, and their
rules. They may even be able to prevent errors and reduce the cost of agency debit
memos resulting from undercollection on fares or incorrect ticketing. Once this module
is complete, the trainees will be equipped with the necessary skills to calculate airfares
and work with fares filed in the Global Distribution Systems.
