This module describes the skills, knowledge and attitude required to manage irrigation
extension activities. It is intended for learners pursuing TVET Advanced Diploma of
irrigation and drainage technology. At the end of this module the students will be able to
Identify irrigation knowledge and skills gap, Plan for extension activities, Organize
extension activities, Monitor and Evaluate the extension activities. Qualified student
deemed competent to this competency, may work with others in support of current
professional practice in marshland, hillside, small scale and large irrigation, garden,
greenhouses under minimum guidance.
