The purpose of this module is to give students a wider understanding of principles of water, the importance of hydrology, groundwater, open channel flow, stream flow measurements and Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM). It provides a clear understanding of water resources and processes related to the movement of water above, on and below earth surface. It provides a basic knowledge of atmospheric and surface processes (precipitation, evapotranspiration, infiltration, surface run-off).
Having successfully completed the module,
students should be able to:
Installation of drip irrigation system
Installation of sprinkler irrigation system
Maintenance of pressurized irrigation systems
Electrical circuit installation
