MODULE OVERVIEW
Any facet of business requires effective communication as a vital tool for success. Whether you are working for a company or running your own business, you will need to be a good communicator. It is in this framework that this module is prepared, and it is made of an introduction and two main parts. In the introduction, we will study the types of communication and the key-elements of communication process. Part one of this module aims at helping students to communicate effectively and take their place as confident communicators, critical and imaginative thinkers, and active participants in professional written correspondence. Students will learn to write their CVs and cover letters, complaint letters, memos and formal emails. Part two focuses on professional speaking skills. In this part, learners will be able to produce and practice public speeches, plan and conduct interviews. This module is much more practical and student-centered and it will enable them to take control of their language and take responsibility for learning, for both life learning and their careers.

This module is much more practical and student-centered and it will enable them to take control of their language and take responsibility for learning, for both life learning and their careersThis module consists of 5 chapters:
1. Introduction to machine design
2. Design of shaft
5. Springs
The course is structured in such way that theory provides the full understanding of the concepts that can help you to solve the problems that are at the end of each chapter.
This course will enable student to acquire competencies of conducting research, preparation and presentation of final report.
This course is composed by 4 sessions. The first session is revision of covered sessions and reminders about the given assignment, the 3 remaining sessions comprise the new content.
After each session there is an activity which is mandatory to be done and submitted.
