This module describes the skills, knowledge and attitudes required to source suppliers and collection and buy machinery. At the end of this module, participants will be able to do apply research methodology to determine the best possible suppliers, do cost comparisons, establish supplier relationships, negotiate pricing, and complete an order process.
Geometrical Optics studies the behavior and the properties of light. It basically deals with light and vision. The main concepts of geometrical Optics are nature, generation, propagation, transmission, absorption, diffusion, reflection, and refraction of light. The further modern usage of light, such as transport of information signals, would redefine Optics, where eye is no longer the only final terminal of light. Applying the main concepts of Optics would help any trainee to effectively operate and handle optical instruments.
