Objective: This module describes the skills and knowledge required to describe digital electronics, apply digital arithmetic and basics of digital coding, basic of combinational and sequential logic, and digital integrated circuits.

Expectations: At the end of this course, students shall understand the difference between digital and analog electronics. They should be able to identify numbering systems and basic digital coding according to their types. They should also be able to apply logic gates according to their types, interpret combinational circuits, flip-flops, digital counters and register, and digital integrated circuits according to their families.
