MACHINE ELEMENTS DESIGN

Purpose statement 

This module describes the skills; knowledge and right attitudes required to describe the purpose of design, design machine parts and perform load analysis of machine parts. This module is intended for trainees pursuing Advanced Diploma in Manufacturing Technology. The trainees will be able to design different machine parts and systems. The trainees will also be able to analyze machine parts and or mechanical systems. At the end of this module, the trainees will be able to independently exercise some initiatives in carrying out defined activities at managerial level.
