Technical drawing

This module is designed for students pursuing Diploma courses in Electronics and Telecommunication Technology. It describes the skills, knowledge, and attitudes required to apply technical drawing. At the end of this course, the learner will be able to use drawing instruments, materials and equipment; apply lines and symbols used in drawing and perform 2 & 3-dimensional drawing.

KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING

Having successfully completed the module should be able to: Differentiate types of drawing, Use drawing instruments, materials and Equipment, To interpret and draw different types of lines, Identify different types of symbols used in technical drawing, To recognize scales,  2D and 3D figures, Performing 2&3-dimension drawings, To know principal planes of projections,  To identify types of projection method, To know four quadrants, To interpret types of isometric plane, To know isometric and non-isometric lines.
