HYDRAULIC AND PNEUMATIC CONTROL SYSTEMS

Purpose statement 

This module describes the skills, knowledge and attitude required to maintain a hydraulic and pneumatic system, Hydraulic and/or Pneumatic actuating systems, hydraulic and Pneumatic positioning systems, lubrication system, control system other utility systems and their components.

This module is intended to students pursuing advanced diploma in Air conditioning and Refrigeration Technology. At the end of this module, the students will be able to assembly and disassembly hydraulic system components, pneumatic system, lubrication system, pneumatics and hydraulic control systems, other utility system and their components, perform inspection, test, troubleshooting and maintenance of hydraulics and pneumatics systems in biomedical equipment under minimum supervision.
