This module describes the knowledge, skills, and attitudes required to perform vehicle panel protection and painting. It is designed for students pursuing Advanced Diploma in automobile technology.
By the end of this module, trainees will be able to identify, select, and use appropriate protection and painting materials, ensuring effective surface preparation. They will acquire skills in removing rust, dents, and trim, applying fillers and putty, sanding surfaces, and conducting pre-painting preparation. Additionally, they will learn proper paint mixing, application, and refinishing techniques to achieve high-quality vehicle finishes.
