ROAD DRAINAGE AND EROSION CONTROL

perform road drainage design and erosion control. At the end of this 
module, the trainee will be able to perform, to determine total runoff, 
to design the road drainage and to control the erosion along the road

At the end of this module, the trainee will be able to Develop a Road project plan, manage Road project scope, perform Road Project Scheduling, manage Road Project resources, Manage Road project cost, Manage Road project 
Procurement and Manage Road project Risks.

Raod Design

This module describes skills, knowledge and attitude required to apply road design and methodologies. At the end of this module, the trainee will be able to perform road geometric design perform conventional pavement analysis and perform overlay design. 

Slope Stability and Earth Work Management

This module describes the skills, Knowledge and attitude required to 
perform slope stability and earthwork. At the end of this module, the 
trainee will be able to Analyse infinite slope stability, analyse finite slope 
stability and Conduct earth works activities

ROAD SAFETY

This module describes the skills, Knowledge and attitude required to apply road safety. At the end of this module, the trainee will be able to analyze road safety situation, perform design road safety features, manage road safety features construction.

Highway construction materials

This module describes the skills, Knowledge and attitude required to manage the quality of highway construction materials.

At the end of this module, the trainees will be able to:

  1. Determine unbound materials characteristic,
  2. Analyse hydraulic bound materials characteristics,
  3. characterize asphalt mixes and
  4. Perform pavement evaluation tests.
